I've found that suspend to ram in Slackware 13.0 works out of the box. This is great, but I have one problem.
How can I run a script once I resume from suspend? In 12.2 I had my own hooks for dealing with acpi events and this let me add commands following a resume. But how does Slackware 13 / KDE 4.2 allow me to do such a thing?
(My problem is with harddrive spin downs as detailed in the thread
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...clicks-731882/ for which the solution is to issue "hdparm -B 254 /dev/sda" in rc.local and after every resume from suspend to ram.)
