Scripts in Nautilus 2.6

Hi,

When right-clicking on a file/directory and choosing for a script in my Scripts-list or clicking on "create archive", NOTHING happens.

1) Where should I look for error messages (looked into /var/log/syslog, faillog, messages but found nothing)?
2) (more important) What happens and how do I solve it?

Thanks in advance!

The problem could be due to File Roller. The "create archive"-option is added by File Roller (I read this somewhere). What's more: when I create an archive, I can't add any directory, only files can be added. On selecting and adding a directory, the only thing that happens is a view shift to the contents of the directory.

This could mean that my File Roller is corrupt[ed]. Has anyone experienced similar problems?
