Screensaver won't start kde3.5.1 slack 10.2

I doubt they ever plan to fix the problem. I verified that
using konstruct to build kde 3.5.2 this problem still occurs
for me. (meta/kde target)

kswarm.kss --root

just doesn't work, and hasn't since KDE 3.2.0 according to
this bug report. How something opened 2004-02-09 can
qualify as 'NEW' is amazing.
