Screen saver doesn't accept password

Hi there,

I just found a little, but annoying problem in KDE on Slackware 10.1.

I configured the KDE screensaver to ask for a password in order to unlock the screen. However, my user password is not accepted. This is weird as the display manager does accept that very same password.

Can anyone tell me where user password are stored in KDE, so that I can check what the bahaviour is caused by?

Thanks,

gargamel

P.S.: It's a KDE problem, it seems. It occurs when I choose "lock screen" from the KDE start menu. When I use xlock from the Konsole instead I can get back to my desktop session with my user password as expected.

I don't normally use KDE, but it occurs to me to wonder if a simple "ENTER" would satisfy the password? In other words, maybe KDE doesn't have a password set for that function... Just a shot in the dark.

No, I thought of that myself, but that was not it. But thanks, anyway.
After re-installing KDE the problem is gone. Thanks to slackpkg that was easy. 8-)
