Sbopkg update error
Hi all,
I've been using sbopkg on 14.2 for years, and never run into trouble until the last month or so. I can sync the repositories, but when I run 'Update' I get the following message: 'Note: repo version not obtainable by standard method, may be inaccurate.' Potential update list complete. When I hit exit, the update queue is empty, however. Any thoughts on trouble-shooting? Thanks so much! |
You might try deleting your 14.2 repository from /var/lib/sbopkg and regenerating it with sbopkg -r. Something might be corrupt.

Thanks so much for the suggestion, liberalchrist. I deleted the directory and rebuilt but the same problem persists. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!

can you check whether indeed there's an update manually first?
if there's no update, then it will show up empty |
Thanks so much Willy! I feel very stupid for not realizing that was the issue. Indeed - there is nothing to update, hence the error. I installed a package from the 14.1 repository, and then the update process worked as intended...
Thanks so much for your help! |
