sbopkg installing Chromium
So I read a thread that was talking about sbopkg, so I installed that to check it out. AWESOME btw. Then I decided to kick off a Chromium install before I left for my lunch hour run, and when I got back it's still running. Is this normal?

It depends on your machine. But usually it takes a while. Don't worry, if you don't run into any errors you'll be finished in a bit.

yes, chromium needs a lot of time to build.

if you got multiple cores there you can add a line to /etc/sbopkg/sbopkg.conf (will be effective at the next run) to enable parallel building: most of the build script on support it, chromium builds more or less in an hour with 8 jobs on a 8 cores modern opteron.

On my laptop, with an i5 (4 cores), the added line reads

Ponce, awesome thanks! Yeah I've got 4 cores on this Macbook Pro, so I'll have to figure out how to add that line in for next time.

Wow, so it's been running for well over two hours... and it's about time to head home. Might have to carry my laptop open and running out to my Jeep and for the drive home. Certainly didn't realize it would take this long.
