Hello Ponce

You got anything in your repo for current to get jdk which ever one installed on current?

I've been trying to get Kodi installed but the Java keeps coming up openjdk: openjdk.SlackBuild return non-zero

Failures:

I first tried installing Kodi via sboinstall using your reop it was trying to install Oracle jdk, failed, thought of telling you about it, then thought no, this is going through sbotools, so I tried sudo sboinstall openjdk8 and got that error. off your git address.

Looking on your git I do not see a java folder so I thought I'd just ask before going to Oracle web page the trying it off of what they have on that. maybe try it hands on first. IN other words where do you hide the jdk's under what directory.

both times just trying to install Oracle and openjdk separately . they both failed.

I found bob's online downloading it now.
thanks...

update: neither repo gets Kodi installed via sbotools. don't lose any sleep over it on my account, I was just wanting to check it out.

please , remove typing , it was included inside M2Crypto , from slackware , see changes Sun Feb 4 05:13:27 UTC 2018

if are unsure , can check with pip list , you have typing (3.6.4), from M2Crypto package , im not sure if this is a correct way to provide this , probably more clear is packaging as separate python extension.

python-typing

but is not our choice here :=)

Thanks!

MPD issue?

Since the recent -current updates, I am unable to compile mpd. Well, it seems mpd itself builds, but the build of the documentation fails. It builds successfully for me if I remove the "--enable-documentation " line from the SBo Slackbuild.

Hey fellas, I'm trying to compile packagekit on 64-current and having no luck.

I'm getting a bunch of warnings:
Code:
chmod: cannot access 'data/tests/pk-client-helper-test.py': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access 'data/tests/pk-spawn-dispatcher.py': No such file or directory
chmod: cannot access 'data/tests/pk-spawn-test-sigquit.py': No such file or directory
and
Code:
WARNING: Failed to parse "/*< private >*/" in pk-offline.h
and
Code:
pk-control-sync.c:43: Warning: PackageKitGlib: multiple comment blocks documenting 'pk_control_get_properties_cb:' identifier (already seen at pk-control.c:1926).
pk-control-sync.c:100: Warning: PackageKitGlib: multiple comment blocks documenting 'pk_control_get_transaction_list_cb:' identifier (already seen at pk-control.c:1303).
pk-control-sync.c:157: Warning: PackageKitGlib: multiple comment blocks documenting 'pk_control_suggest_daemon_quit_cb:' identifier (already seen at pk-control.c:650).
pk-control-sync.c:214: Warning: PackageKitGlib: multiple comment blocks documenting 'pk_control_set_proxy_cb:' identifier (already seen at pk-control.c:1047).
I tried looking around and only came up with stuff relating to django.

Could one of our guru's look at this?

As always;
Clean full install Slackware64-current (Fri Feb 9 19:59:54 UTC 2018), bash-completion from /extra

full build log here: https://pastebin.com/fQeQVKj5

but unfortunately I have no clue on how to get rid of it.
looking around I found some maybe-related topics where you and willysr were discussing similar errors...

The only thing that I can figure is maybe it has something to do with the recently updated glibc packages?

I have also tried with packagekit-1.1.8 and getting almost exactly the same log.

Unfortunately it was fixed upstream (colord), while in this case, upstream is probably not aware of this issue

build opencv passing to the script the variable CVDOCS=no, like
Code:
CVDOCS=no ./opencv.SlackBuild
EDIT: no, that doesn't work because it must be disabled explicitly in the SlackBuild (the default in CMakeLists.txt is to build the docs): modify it like follows and build it without the parameter above
Code:
--- ./opencv.SlackBuild.orig    2018-02-13 21:28:11.701426000 +0100
+++ ./opencv.SlackBuild 2018-02-13 22:23:49.783426000 +0100
