For -current, lnav 0.90.0 fails to build. lnav 0.10.1 succeeds. I use slackrepo to run my builds.

I used the following hint file:
Code:
VERSION="0.10.1"
DOWNLOAD="https://github.com/tstack/lnav/releases/download/v0.10.1/lnav-0.10.1.tar.gz"
Those are essentially overrides for the lnav.info file, for those unfamiliar with slackrepo.

this is actually an oversight by the latest updater: he left enabled BUILD_WEBENGINE (that copies those files in that wrong path) and, most important, DBUILD_TELEMETRY_MODULE (nobody wants that!).

these, like OpenSubdiv also, look like a problem with the github infrasctructure: it happened also in the past and it has been fixed after a while.

until it's ok please use sbosrcarch as an alternative for downloading the interested tarballs

Unfortunately, I have had issues with building Blender in -current. My current problem revolves around OpenColorIO, which places a 64 bit library under /usr/lib instead of /usr/lib64.

I suspect that is why the Blender build cannot find the shared library, but I have no solid proof.

Code:

Thanks for the report - installation into /usr/lib is clearly wrong for a 64bit system. I've made a fix and uploaded the new SlackBuild. Also an updated Blender for version 2.93.6.

What I don't understand is how Blender has been building fine for a long time (for me, at least) with OpenColorIO libs in the wrong directory. After your report I tried rebuilding Blender with an opencolorio package I still had around with the misplaced libs; it built fine - I could see in the Blender configuration phase that libOpenColorIO had been found in /usr/lib (all other libs found in /usr/lib64).

Whatever, it's fixed now.

As @ponce suggested, this was mainly due to Github infrastructure issue which seems to be fixed today; the existing Slackware will build now without changes.

That said, this version no longer needs a distinct SRCNAM like it used to, so I've pushed a new version to SBo which reflects that. I wouldn't have noticed that change without this report, so thanks for reporting.

Hi,

There are great chances the segfaults you see come from lensfun entering in action automatically if the lens in the raw metadata is matched (or present ?).

Have you checked /var/log/syslog or /var/log/message ? I remember seeing a message in there.
If you have an interchangeable lens camera, you could also try with a picture taken without lens,
or build and compare with the "sed -i 's/lensfun >.*/lensfun >= 0.2.5 lensfun < 0.3.95,/' configure.ac" modification.

I've just sent him an email, we'll see if he responds.
