thanks for the reminder, but as I wrote a couple of weeks ago:

in the meantime, if you wish to help you can list whatever you find depending on gstreamer0 or gst0-plugins-base or gst0-plugins-good and they will be added to REQUIRES ASAP.

as I wrote before a couple of times on the matter I'm still hoping that someone will step in as a maintainer for a qt4 script for current (it hasn't happened yet): either that or I will drop everything depending on qt-4.x.

I have a SlackBuild for qt4 in my KDE4 build. It works with the latest Slackware current (15alpha1) and glibc 2.33.

It is inside the kde4.tgz here : https://github.com/BrunoLafleur/pbsl...bo/kde4.tar.gz

May be I could do a github project on its own ?

Or KDE4 with it as a dependency (as other ones).

great!
do you feel like maintaining this qt4.SlackBuild on SBo as long as Slackware 15.0 will be the "latest stable" (so until 15.1 is out) and eventually give support to people using it?

Yes I can do that.
The original script is from Eric. I have done some minor modification for building.
Maybe I will have to track the dependencies (I have them on my working machines).

Where can I put the SlackBuild ?

on github is ok.

remember that the script must follow, wherever possible and applicable, SBo's templates and have the needed files of every other SBo script: feel free, if can be useful, to have a look as example at the one I prepared at december adapting the one that was in Slackware.

here it seems to build fine, if I compile it using a single make job.

Hello Ponce - issue with rc.libvirt pointing to the wrong location for virsh

Code:
/etc/rc.d/rc.libvirt: line 97: /usr/sbin/virsh: No such file or directory
Guests managed save took 2 seconds...
Stopping libvirtd...
/etc/rc.d/rc.libvirt: line 157: /usr/sbin/virsh: No such file or directory
easy enough to fix, just fyi

Also somewhat related - virt-viewer not building
Code:
libtool: error: cannot find the library '/usr/lib64/libvirt.la' or unhandled argument '/usr/lib64/libvirt.la'

I think you haven't updated it with the /etc/rc.d/rc.libvirt.new one (it's up to the user, when he updates packages), because that has the correct location.

I'll have a look but something doesn't add up because it shouldn't look for any *.la files at all.

EDIT: I can confirm that it build fine here: you probably have some old packages compiled against *.la files laying around.

Yes I do, quite a few .new files for libvirt - that's exactly it! Thank you.

virt-viewer will need a bit more digging on my part.

"Is it everyone else or just me?"

Could someone please verify opencpn and openscad for me on ponce's sbo-git? I've been working on them and I'm at dead end with those twos. Just let me know if you were able to compile them without any interventions. Thanks in advance.
