qbittorrent: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.72.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have already recompiled it, without success.
Did you change the reference to 'libboost_system.so.1.73.0'?
Or is the symbolic link "/usr/lib/libboost_system.so" correctly pointing to the 1.73.0 version?
Where can I change the reference? In the SlackBuild script? I have tried to set the links for 1.72.0 pointing to 1.73.0 but then the application segfaults. /usr/lib64/libboost_system.so -> libboost_system.so.1.73.0*

I'm sorry but this is not the proper place to discuss about this: BTW, I think you have to just update your multilib installation as it's looking for the 32bit freetype and a brotli and woff2 dependency for this has been added (see the multilib changelog)...

I'm using -
current
ktown
multilib
brought up to date this morning using slackpkg
please, re-read the first post of the topic: if you aren't able to reproduce your issues on a slackware64-current full installation *without* ktown and multilib you shouldn't report issues in this topic and you should open a new one.

Compiled as is on -current and multilib, Is wine after all. Should have done this step first would have given me a clue.
On -current, multilib and ktown compiled just fine after installing the woff2-compat32 and brotli-compat32 from alienbob. Must remember not to post to this thread if not a plain current install. Sorry.
I just tried the patch you submitted to SBo on my slackware64-current, but it doesn't build for me...
Code:
(snipped for brevity)
have you tried it yourself? does it build there?
I tried it again this morning and got a failure. My bug report wound up being tagged a duplicate of another report, and the correct patch was there. Since it will be included when gnucash 3.11 is released, I did away with the "CURRENT=yes" option and made the patch unconditional. It is now uploaded to SBo.
Still rather strange that the other patch worked yesterday and not today.

just to be clear... the patch you submitted is actually the same and to the same file I applied with sed in post #2688 four days ago, right?

my slackware is current 64 and it already has the PyQt5-5.13.2 from the installation iso. So I did not install PyQt5-5.13.2 package from the slackbuilds, eventhough it compiled successfully. I noticed that the PyQt5 from the slackbuilds is compiled for python 2.7
That's why I do not want to replace the package that comes with the iso with the one I compile from slackbuilds for fearing breaking other dependencies.
