Question SBo and LibreOffice 5.2.2.3

Hello fellow-slackers,

after a short and unpleasant journey through the bsd world, I finally come back to Slackware, just to run into a problem, a small one but a problem still.

SBo has updated the LibreOffice version to 5.2.2.3 (I mean this one https://slackbuilds.org/repository/1...e/LibreOffice/

Saddly the src file doesn't exist on sourceforge. Does someone here know, when it will be uploaded? Can I just use the old one by renaming it? Or should I opt for version 5.2.2.2?

All suggestions welcome and thanks in advance

Alien Bob AKA Eric Hameleers is one of our Slackware developers. He has a lot of excellent software on his site. His software is trusted. He has a pre-built package fgor Libreoffice that you can install.

Thanks hitest, but in this case I prefer to build it myself (sort of ) But I'll store that link and have a closer look at the directories. Has Eric found something new?

You're welcome. Eric's Libreoffice packages install easily with all dependencies met on stable and -current using # installpkg. I appreciate that I don't need to compile Libreoffice.

Try again now. For some reason the -srcs tarball hadn't been uploaded for that version; looks like my bad - sorry about that.

hi chris,

nothing to say sorry about. Thanks for creating the entry at slackbuilds and doing great work! The download went smooth.
