sata support for kernel form scratch

I'm doing a menuconfig for 2.6.13 now
what should I include to make my kernel support SATA?
there is "Support for SATA" option but it says also "deprecated, conflicts with libata SATA driver".
and also what about SCSI Emulation, should I include that too?

thanks for answers

The "proper" (libata) SATA support is under the SCSI drivers. Enable that. SCSI Emulation is pretty useless since 2.6 allowed direct CD-burning access.

I have SATA HD and I have just compiled the kernel. I only needed to compile two drivers:
Code:
basel@slackware:~/tmp/linux-2.6.13$ grep ATA .config
# CONFIG_X86_MCE_NONFATAL is not set
# CONFIG_ATALK is not set
# CONFIG_ATA_OVER_ETH is not set
# ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support
# CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_SATA is not set
CONFIG_SCSI_SATA=y
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_AHCI is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_SVW is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_ATA_PIIX is not set
CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_NV=y
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_PROMISE is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_QSTOR is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_SX4 is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_SIL is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_SIS is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_ULI is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_VIA is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_SATA_VITESSE is not set
# CONFIG_SCSI_EATA is not set
# CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DATAFAB is not set
# CONFIG_ATARI_PARTITION is not set
