samba help

i have a full installation of slackware 10.0. my question, is there any samba graphical clients included in the package? if theres none, what the best samba gui client or tools so i can easily browse my network. thanks in advance!

you could try using swat
i have never used it before because i configured mine with a text editor, but i believe that swat lets you change it using a web browser, just like cups. http://localhost:901 i think, i'm not too sure about it.

http://localhost:901 gives me connection refuse.

i'm fairly sure there's something you have to edit in inetd.conf.... pretty sure.. I've seen it in passing..

yep.. just did it.. I hadn't bothered before.. but now I have swat. yay

look for

swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/sbin/swat swat
