SACD ISO playback?

is there a way to playback SACD audio rips (they're compressed in one very big ISO file)?
windows do it with Foobar, linux has MPD that should be the answer (but right now I am not in the vein of editing conf files...)

Foobar under WINE works, but I will be glad to try a linux native solution

Yes those are restricted means it has some libraries that may find it on the edge of distribution licensing.
The laws in different countries differ with laws in the USA. So the package is there for you to download.
So download it for personnel use. or build it your self.
the only other way is to compile it your self and add the questionable libraries to the build.

here look at what goes into that build. http://slackware.org.uk/people/alien...lds/vlc/build/

looking at the size and to the contents of build folders, they seems identically. am I right?

As far as I'm aware, and without digging through the slackbuild, I believe the restricted items are only compiled when you pass a certain variable to the slackbuild prior to compiling. So the source trees would likely stay the same, the resulting packages on the slackware.com site and Alien's restricted site will be different.

no, I was wrong. restricted_slackbuilds folder has 3 files more than the other one
quoting Alien's blog "alternative repository containing packages capable of AAC/MP3 encoding and encrypted DVD playback"
