rpm cannot find installed dependencies

im installing the ATI Radeon drivers, which only comes as an RPM
when executing
rpm -Uh --force atipackage.rpm
it returns all the depencencies as failed, even though they do exist

Slackware does not have an RPM database (since it's not an RPM based distribution)

You need to either:

1. Pass the --nodeps option

2. Convert it using rpm2tgz, install the tgz package, then follow the intructions on ATi's website for a manual install (essentially, run /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod/make.sh then /lib/moudles/fglrx/make_install.sh, /usr/X11R6/bin/fglrxconfig, then restart)
