Requests to my ISP server are output in the middle of output by any command I run.

Hi:
While in the text console requests to my ISP server are output in the middle of output by any command I'm running. What can this possibly be?

Kernel 2.6.21.5, slackware 12.0

You have to turn off logging to the console if the messages as such do not indicate an error situation which has to be corrected.

This is how to do it:
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Remote-Serial-...d-logging.html

This is plain Linux, and Slack usually complies with those standards better than other distros. Debian does it differently (and it beats me to find out)
