No, this is about changes to existing packages and things that need version bumping. There's a separate thread called something like "things you'd like to be added to slackware" or something very similar, but as we're now in the "Release Candidate" stage you're very unlikely to get anything new added before the next release ships.
But still it's requests, so is a good place to request additions too. I think.
If Pat adds or not, you know, he decides
Indeed, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" as they say.
The title doesn't say so, but if I'm remembering rightly the original intent of the thread (or more accurately it's predecessor) was to garner feedback on the current state of 'current', including minor change requests and bumps, and not requests for additions. But, that's not clear from the title and the role of threads does tend to evolve so perhaps you can't blame people for taking it literally.

I don't think it was ever explicitly specified whether this just a requests for updates or a generic requests for upgrades/additions/removals, but based on the below (quoted from the Robby's first post -- emphasis added is mine), I'd say it is any requests for -current, whether it be upgrades, downgrades, additions, removals, patches, etc.

Currently setup installs everything but KDEI. One then needs to manually mount and install the required packages. Why not add the required choice ( KDEI[ab]) at installation time ?
libdvdread: comes from libdvdread-5.0.3-x86_64-1:usr/share/doc/libdvdread/
libunistring: comes from libunistring-0.9.3-x86_64-1:usr/share/doc/libunistring/
/usr/share/doc is a symlink to ../doc and that's how they get there
This release fixes some regressions introduced by the last security fixes.
Please see bug https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11849 for a list of
