Hi,

While having a look at /usr/doc I noticed that there are a few unversioned directories, namely:
Code:
HTML: seems to be holding various KDE related documents, not sure if this actually should be versioned or not,
bash: belonging to bash-4.3.042-x86_64-1
cups: soft link to cups-2.1.3
indent: belonging to indent-2.2.10-x86_64-1
libXt: belonging to libXt-1.1.5-x86_64-1
libdvdread: ???
libunistring: ???
netdate: belonging to netdate-bsd4-x86_64-1
pppsetup: belonging to ppp-2.4.7-x86_64-1
--
Best regards,
Andrzej Telszewski

Perl v5.22.2 has been released. It fixes several bugs which are present in v5.22.1 (which is in slackware-current now).

This should resolve shortly:
https://metacpan.org/release/SHAY/perl-5.22.2

I dearly hope it isn't too late in the dev cycle to include this, but understand if it isn't to be.

ETA: Thank you!! :-D

Code:
Sat Apr 30 05:51:33 UTC 2016
d/perl-5.22.2-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.

for cups doc, now cups accept this option --docdir=/usr/doc/$PKGNAM-$VERSION, the SlackBuild need improvement

(this option --docdir=/usr/doc don't work on old cups version) this is probably the raison.

old cups install the doc in /usr/share/doc.

this is, is probably not needed now:

# Adjust/expand docs:
( mkdir -p $PKG/usr/doc
mv $PKG/usr/share/doc/cups $PKG/usr/doc/cups-$VERSION

whois 5.2.12 has been released. It's newer than 5.2.10 in -current, and ought to be a harmless upgrade (I haven't noticed any problems so far).

My guess would be driver stability. Seeing how the Intel DDX driver has been behaving, it would make sense to make sure everything works before starting down the next RC path.

No, this is about changes to existing packages and things that need version bumping. There's a separate thread called something like "things you'd like to be added to slackware" or something very similar, but as we're now in the "Release Candidate" stage you're very unlikely to get anything new added before the next release ships.
