Every time cups-filters is installed after cups (almost always since it is updated more often), it changes the /etc/cups directory to have root as group instead of lp.
I noticed that SeaMonkey got rebuilt with -Os on -current.
Some time ago I did the same thing on 14.1 and it hasn't resolved the random crashes, well not so random, they happen mostly when attaching files to the forms.
gcc-5.3.0 crashes while building wine due to this bug: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=69140
Hopefully, the bug is already fixed. Please, apply the corresponding patch or revert gcc to older stable version (I do not know what is better).
