As ffmpeg has entered -current, I would like to suggest that the audacious-plugins package be rebuilt with this line commented in the SlackBuild script.
Code:
# --with-ffmpeg=none \
This accepts the default of using ffmpeg and allows audacious to play .m4a (AAC) files.

Clamav complains that zlib-1.2.10 is insecure and stops configuring; and also the zlib homepage suggests the immediate replacement of 1.2.10 in favor of 1.2.11. So could a zlib upgrade be considered, please?

actually that is related to its internal version-check for zlib, please see here.
