There is a new version of genpower-1.0.6 package, containing the genpowerd, called from /etc/rc.d/rc.M.

Although nowadays I know very few UPS systems which use serial, so maybe it's time to switch to apcupsd or NUT tools?

https://github.com/quinot/genpower/issues

I made a feature request to the current maintainer to add a possibility to use apcupsd as a backend for genpowerd (after all, it sets 'kinda standard' /etc files), but anyway, it very old.

Hi,

I randomly came across this, maybe it would be worth to enable:
Code:
CONFIG_DEBUG_SET_MODULE_RONX
in the kernel?

More here.

Hi,

OpenSSH 7.4 released.

Quote:
OpenSSH 7.4 is out. It is primary a bugfix release, and four CVE numbers have been assigned for the issues it fixes. This release also removes server-side support for the ancient v1 SSH protocol, adds a new proxy multiplexing mode, makes it possible to disable all forwarding forevermore, and more.

You are correct. Apparently they haven't posted it yet, but the link is listed at distrowatch.com.

ap/nano-2.7.3-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Thanks Pat! I just saw the announcement yesterday on distrowatch and was eager to try it, having seen the news. Will use it on 14.2.
