I have no idea how to make a patch for this option and -u(udev) to push to upstream.

Any help???

How about a release candidate, it's been 3 f'in years. Slackware is dead, Volkerding just won't admit it.

Seems the latest network-manager-applet is have bug with localization.
My investigation led to the following. I look at my old localization for Xfce and found that in him /usr/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES/nm-applet.mo
but in /network-manager-applet-1.8.22-x86_64-1/usr/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES/network-manager-applet.mo
I renamed network-manager-applet.mo to nm-applet.mo and voila - Advanced Network Configuration in Russian.
All languages in /network-manager-applet-1.8.22-x86_64-1/usr/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES/ is have not correct name network-manager-applet.mo

Please fix it. Not bad if can anybody to report about this bug to NetworkManager team.

Thanks.

The -M option is already in my update list along with some other doc changes suggested here and a fix for LUKS2 support in the initrd. Just FYI :-)
