Requesting Ghostscript Install Help

I would like to install Ghostscript 7.05 and have run into one small obsticle. A quote from the install instructions I'm using here:
-----
Ghostscript looks for fonts in hardcoded directories, see GS_LIB_DEFAULT in the makefile. For Red Hat the following symbolic link will allow Ghostscript to find fonts with out modifying the makefile. Other distributions may have different font directories.

# ln -s /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1 /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts
-----
Where does Slackware 9.0 have its default font directory (or whichever directory I SHOULD be using)? Thanks much.
~Alfred

PS> New to Linux, but getting along very well and enjoying the experience! (Yesterday I learned how to make my usb mouse wheel work!)

Problem Solved

Nevermind, problem solved, I just installed ESP GS instead, and I didn't need to specify a link.
