request shipping php-fpm with php in -current repo
 

I used to Email Pat regarding this question, sadly got no response. As of that time php in -current still remains the version 5.2.x.

Since upgraded to php-5.3.6 in -current at this writing, while php-fpm was added into php core since 5.3.3, why still no php-fpm support from Slackware team?

Every time, I rebuilt php packages on my boxes.

Any +1?

Well, you can always build your own PHP like i did :)
