Removing unwanted processes in Slackware

How do i stop unwanted processes in Slackware such as lpd pcmcia etc... like you can in RH by typing setup.

You can edit your startup scripts located in /etc/rc.d..... sorry, but there's not gui or setup type way like in Redhat.

yeah if the scripts are executable, that means that they are going to be executed at boot time. just do a chmod -x filename to whatever you dont want to start up at boot time.
