Do you mean the menu that is turned off with this:
Xfce menu > Settings > Desktop, Menus tab, under Desktop Menu, uncheck Show Applications menu on desktop right-click.

Followup to this. On my Slackware 13, turning off Show Applications Menu as above really did hide the entire desktop right-click menu. Because (I didn't realize at the time) I was only getting the applications menu on right-click, not the usual context menu (with applications menu as a sub-menu). Very odd. I can only think it was something left-over from the Xfce-4.4 to Xfce-4.6 settings migration.
I finally tracked it down to a single setting, on the "xfce-desktop" channel, path /desktop-icons/style. It was set to 0, which somehow caused only the applications menu to appear on right-click. Clearing that out restored the normal menu. For example:
Code:
xfconf-query -c xfce4-desktop -p /desktop-icons/style -r
Makes no sense (desktop-icons?) but I am 100% sure this fixed it, and restored the normal right-click menu.
