Remove a package series?

I have a NAS which uses an Intel Atom processor. I did a full install of slackware several years ago but it's just a dumb terminal server running serviio. How do I go about removing X, XAP, emacs etc? I don't want to continue updating those as I never use them.

It's currently running Slackware 14.0

to remove the x serie
Code:
slackpkg remove x
and so on...

You can also do #pkgtool as root and use the GUI to look at what is installed and remove exactly whatever you want.
