Remote changing the vt in ssh
Here's the deal:
I'm running a process on 'server' on teminal screen 1. I ssh into the server (Or whatever). How can I see the process and output of the running terminal? Local doing it is no problem (Alt+f1)

I'm pretty sure you can't literally change to the terminal actually running the process. I'd start the process using screen and then detach - that way when you ssh in, you can use screen to re-attach to it.
If that doesn't work, you can use tee and/or shell re-direction to dump the output of the process to logs as well as the terminal. That way when you ssh in, you just tail the logs.

If those are simple programs (not intended to be deamons), I'd go the screen way. Screen rules all the way.

To just see the content of the terminal window tty1 (without being able to interact with the program) just type
Eric
