recover data

I have a 300GB sata drive with 3 partitions.

partition 1: linux (83)
partition 2: swap (82)
partition 3: fat32 (c) ~250GB

Partition 3 is shared between linux and windows. Partition 1 has slackware 2.6.13 installed on it. When i ran chkdsk on partition 3 from windows and it found an error and i cancel the repair since i know the partition was created from linux. Now when i booted up linux from another HDD and fdisk -l show the 300GB only has a fat partition with about 110GB. Chkdsk from windows sure screw up the partition table. Can't access that partition from windows either. Since I didn't do anything to the drive after running chkdsk, I believe all data should still be there. Is there anyway to fix this ?

thanx...

will that work if the partition was overwritten by windows because linux now show the only partition on that drive is HPFS/NTFS which is not the case.

thx...
