recomplie and no ALSA


ok so everything works great after i recompile except alsa. when i do alsaconf it says no cards detected and it wont load the modules. i then used swaret to reinstall the drivers and nothing works. can someone please help? thanks.

After recompiling your kernel, you need to reinstall the alsa driver by doing the usual ./configure && make && make install.
Recompiling destroys the previous installation I think.
