recompiling pcmcia after....

ok guys.. Aussie did a great tutorial on compiling new kernel. Thanx Auss!!

but my problem now is after i compiled my new kernel(2.4.22), i cant connect to my network and i think it cannot detect my card.

i guess i have to recompile my pcmcia to get updated?

any tutorial or procedures like Aussie did is greatly appreciated..

What kind of card is it (i.e. what brand and model number)?

Can you look inside the /etc/rc.d/rc.modules file to see if it is in there? I would look myself but I stupidly enough tried to install FreeBSD 4.8 on a system already running Windows XP and Slackware 9.0, and now nothing on that computer works (botched attempt at partitioning by FreeBSD... bah). So while that is restructuring itself from the ground up on my comp I can't really look at any Linux files myself.

Sorry!

But anyway...if you see it or something close enough to it, remember what it said (something like "usr/sbin/modprobe blabla") and type that at the command prompt. See if that helps.
