Receiving Mail

I am using sendmail mail server and I don't know how to configure either the server or my network to be able to receive mail. My server is running behind a Windows 2000 server with NAT enabled. Sendmail is a default configuration. To be able to receive mail to myuser@myserver.com would I simply map port 25 to my mail server? I am unsure how to approach this problem.

Thank you

"You will require an MX entry in your DNS databases to point to your mail server.

Sendmail too should be told to accept mails for your domain."

What does this mean and how would I do it?

Maybe reading the Sendmail documentation would help?

http://www.sendmail.org/

In general, I am not sure if Sendmail works well behind NAT. In any case, it seems like your main configuration task is on the Windows 2000 NAT server, not on your sendmail server.
