Rebuilding svgalib_helper for new kernel

On my Slackware 12.2 box, I installed a custom compiled kernel (2.6.30). I'm now trying to rebuild svgalib_helper using the official slackware Slackbuild, but the script fails with the following error:

error: implicit declaration of function 'device_create_drvdata'

Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Nothing. It won't build on newer kernels, which is why it's no longer part of -current.
How's the weather? :-)

Ah, thanks! I was scratching my head why I couldn't compile it.

The weather is NICEEEE! Kind of a slow day at work. No complaints though. :-)
