Real Player and .wav sounds plays at 2x speed - OSS?

Hey guys! When I try to play a .wav file on xmms or a stream in Real Player, they play the sound at a 2x speed. I've changed the output plugin from OSS to Alsa in xmms and it solved the problem. But there is no option do to that on Real Player. Is it an OSS compatibility issue? Any way to solve that? Any idea about why does Real Player and xmms use OSS instead of Alsa by default? (and I can see it also happens with mpg123). I didn't install the alsa drivers package, the drivers come directly compiled on kernel (either alsa and oss compatibility) as modules.

have you tried using ALSA's OSS-compatibility module?? i don't know what the command to start real player is, but let's say it's "realplayer", then you might try loading it like this:
Code:
aoss realplayer
i'm not saying this is a definite workaround, i'm just saying it won't hurt to try...
