re :kernel compile guide

When I compiled everything, everything worked flawlessly, and I had no problems. But when I restarted, for some reason it was still booting from my 2.4.26 kernel. Does anybody know how to fix this so it uses the 2.6 kernel instead?

You haven't added your new kernel to your bootloader...
