[SOLVED] RDP protocol is not available in Remmina

I just installed remmina to remote into some windows servers on my network. I've always used rdesktop, but want to try remmina. I'm running slack 13.37 (32 bit). I installed the following packages from slackbuilds:

remmina
libssh
libunique
remmina-plugins
freerdp

When I setup a connection to a server all protocols are listed in remmina except rdp.

Anyone know what I'm missing here?

remmina,-plugins should be built after freerdp is installed. Other wise it won't pick up on freerdp.

RDP works here.

Thank you. I removed remmina-plugins, rebuilt the package, (after installing freerdp) reinstalled the plugins package and it works.

I am attempting this RDP through a gateway on Open Suse and not quite sure how to "rebuilt the package" mentioned above. I have removed all the apps but want to make sure to understand what and how to rebuild the package and what package. Sorry, I am still learning, but love it!

Thank you Sir. This error happened to me on Manjaro 20.2 and your solution worked like a charm.

You just need to reinstall remmina, after installing its optional dependency for RDP protocol, freerdp.
