I have found a few quirks in 13.37. The SlackBuild for the Nvidia driver does not work. After running it and installing the packages when you try to load the Nvidia module it says "Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.37.6/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): No such device." I know that this is not a problem with Slackware, but a problem with the SlackBuild. The workaround for this is to just install the official Nvidia driver off of their website. Also, KDE set my GTX 470 HDMI port as the main audio device. This resulted in no sound. The work around is to blacklist the snd-hda-intel module. Also, with my computer the nouveau driver did not work. Also, the vesa driver also did not work. All I got was a colorful lines distorting the screen, and the X would crash. After installing the Nvidia drivers though this does not happen anymore. I hope these problems will be fixed with updates. I hope that these instructions can help others who have these peoples. Over all though, 13.37 has been quite a solid release. Thank you Pat and the Slackware crew!

One person's problem is another person's solution! KDE has been the only place I can get sound out of my HDMI port ever since I got the graphics card a few years ago. I am thankful for this because that's where I want my sound to come out and I've never been able to make it happen in the console or in xfce, so please, please don't change it.

Hi,
I should have made this clearer. I don't think it is a bug, and is useful if you are using HDMI. If you are not however, I think KDE needs to make it easier to disable. Is there even a way to disable the HDMI port through KDE?
Didier, I reported the issue to SlackBuild. I have not reported the error to nouveau however, because I have gotten the driver to work with my computer on other distros like Fedora. This makes me think that this issue is with Slackware.
