Trying to install the logitech qc-usb driver on a 2.4.31 "current" pc
Following the install script hints I installed a xawtv package from Linuxpackages and built a quickcam.o driver
On trying to insmod the driver I get these errors:
unresolved symbol video_device_register
unresolved symbol video_device_unregister
Searching on the net points to needing videodev.o but I cannot find this anywhere. I seems to be part of v4l together with bttv
There was a problem with the 2.6.x kernel series and the qc-usb driver. They released a patch so that it would work so maybe the've done the same for 2.4.31. Have you looked at the sourceforge page to see about patches and or fixes?
