Question about HIGHMEM64 option in Linux kernel

Can a 32 bit Linux actually use 64 GB of RAM?
I had always thought that you'd need a 64 bit OS to address more than 4 GB

Thanks

Yes (slooooowly I expect).
You need a PAE capable motherboard - and the memory (RAM) obviously.

Gets asked all the time - search on PAE.
