question about console
 

I've noticed that when I log in as a user and go to a console the directories are nice and colorfull. When I "su" everything turns to the same color :confused:. Is there a way to have the nice colors even when I "su"? Hope I made sense with my question...learned so much in the few days that I've lurked here :D.

A nice and more extensible way to accomplish the same functionality, as well as to allow personal customization: "man dircolors"
