I can't get my Qualcomm Atheros AR5007EG WIFI to work on my Slackware 64 default installation running on a Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5928

Heck Knnoppix runs fine straight out of the box.
That device should be supported out of the box by the ath5k kernel module.
So, I suspect a configuration issue.
While you have been away, the SlackDocs project has become a good source of information. Have you seen this?
