Qemu SlackBuild

The SlackBuild (using sbopkg) brought up an error when trying to make the documentation, about needing texi2html. I downloaded the source from here:

http://www.mathematik.uni-kl.de/~obachman/Texi2html/

Then ran src2pkg on it, installed it, and the Qemu SlackBuild was successful. This was on Slack64, but probably applies to 32 bit as well.

Use a root login shell e.g.
Code:
bash# su -
I think the path for tetex is only in $PATH when you have a login shell.

Oh, ****! Yeah, it's there in /usr/share/texmf/bin! I'm a dozy ****er! Never mind, I've got two texi2htmls now.

Post #3's a bit OTT. I must have been in one of my Al Pacino shouting moods then.
I used ls /usr/bin to see if I had texi2html, when I should have used find.

I really have never used find, so I gave that a shot - looking for texi2html. The response was "No such file or directory.
Then I tried locate, and it popped right up! Its always possible that I just don't know how to use find correctly. Off to the man pages for a bit!

Or I could/should have used whereis:
Code:
bash-3.1$ whereis -b texi2html
texi2html: /usr/bin/texi2html /usr/X11R6/bin/texi2html /usr/bin/X11/texi2html /usr/X11/bin/texi2html /usr/share/texi2html
I'm learning...slowly, but surely...by trial and error.
But I would have had to pass that location on to the SlackBuild, or edit the script, for it to work first time.
