Python issue with ucs2 vs. ucs4

I bought a game on steam that needs python2 configured with --enable-unicode=ucs4, but I have several apps(mirage, puddletag, mcomix) that need --enable-unicode=ucs2. Is it possible to "fix" these apps so they use ucs4? Or any other way to get those apps running?

I don't know, but really ucs-2 is an encoding of the past that should not be used anymore anywhere, see this post.

You might want to read through our previous thread about this:

python in 14.1 is compiled with Unicode set to UCS-2, whilst other distros use UCS-4
