Program to connect to 3g mobile internet
 

Hello,

Is there a program included with Slackware that can help me connect to a 3G internet provider (Vodafone uk)?

I've tried wvdial on the commandline, but I cant get it to work.

@clifford227 - Your user information shows Slackware 12.2 as your version. Is this correct?

You will find this much easier using NetworkManager in the recently released Slackware 14.0

Blueman, or NetworkManager (broken sometimes), or buy a 3G->WiFi router.

I try NetworkManager at Slackware 14 but it didn't working yet at my system yet. It is about nm_system_iface_flush_ ... . So, I just can suggest about KPPP now. It works.

NetworkManager worked fine here with fluxbox, just added plugdev and netdev groups to my user. Not sure whether I need both groups but it's working.
