problems with the upgrade

Hello,
I did not touch my Slackware for a few months now when I was trying to run upgrade I got a warning that I have 14.+ installed (was current but time passes)

new if I try to run slackpkg upgrade-all

I am getting error:

Quote:

awk: /usr/libexec/slackpkg/pkglist.awk:6: (FILENAME=- FNR=1) fatal: attempt to access field -2
Is there any way to solve it or should I get a new -current iso?

Are you using slackpkg+? If so, you need a new upgrade for that first.

Running slackware-current assume that you follow its updates like a good puppy. ;)

IF you do now want to update often you OS, please stay in a stable version at your choice.

I'm in exactly the same boat. Been on -current for a long time, ran an update a couple weeks ago, ran again today to the same warning and error. I believe slackpkg+ updated itself first.

UPDATE: manually upgrading to the 6mt version of slackpkg+ does correct this issue.
