Problems Printing in 13.1

I just bought a new printer an Epson Artisan 50. I can not get it to work for nothing.

I get error:

/etc/cups/interfaces/EPSON-Artisan-50 failed

PPD is from http://www.openprinting.org/printer/...son-Artisan_50

Any ideas out there?

so you ran pkgtool and ran sysytem service and enabled cups right then rebooted and used this address in firefox to configure the printer. then ran a test.

Did you start the cups daemon?

Code:
chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.cups
/etc/rc.d/rc.cups start
Check out Alien Bob's site:

Yes I made sure of all of this
The issue was that the printer was defective. Took it back and got me a different model since that was the last one.

Thanks!
