Problems on using XP (NTFS) and SlackWare 9
Well, I've installed Linux SlackWare 9 no my PC, but when I change something on LILO, when I restart my PC instead of appears LILO "face", it shows and error 99 and sometimes 9A. I tryed to change /etc/lilo.conf as it were...but still didn't work........
I thought would be some problem with WindowsXP that use NTFS, 'cause on the first time I installed SlackWare lilo didn't work...the reason is unknow by me, so I started to look for information on net....and I found a command "add" that creates a file *.lnx, so I put this file on C:\ .... with it I started to select my operation system with windows boot... and then..after select linux on windows boot lilo's "face" finally appears... and work normal until yesterday..when I tryed to recompile my kernel........ and that erros appears again........ today I tryed to put lilo on work....,but when I executed lilo after change, shows a message saing that LBD32 had been add to lilo boot..... Somebody can help me... :Pengy: |
run pkgtool or rerun the install and setup lilo again but install lilo into the MRB and you won't have these problems.
