Problems compiling unreal ircd

I have downloaded unreal IRCd to a slckware linux box and all i have installed is the basic package no x window no KDE and it wont compile it says that it cannot create the exectubles. Somebody said that i need to isntall gcc but i chose to install it on the cd install

Any help will be greatly appreciated

No much in the way of facts here.

1. What exactly did you download?
2. What did you do then?
3. What were you expecting?
4. What happened instead?

Tell us what commands you tried and show us the ouput. Someone will probably be able to help you.

So i downloaded it wget (unreal url)
i then untar it tar -zxf Unreal3.2.4
i cd to the dir cd Unreal3.2
And then ./Config
I follow all the config steps
Until it gets to compile Where it says it cannot create exectubles.

Sorry man it sounds like you did the right steps but I don't understand where you're getting the last message from. Can you past a few lines?

Its ok anyway now i changed distro to debain. Thank you for your time.
