problem with VB v: 4.0.4 70,112 and v: 4.0.6 - pc resets spontaneously!
I have VB v: 4.0.4 70,112 with WinXP, Slackware 12.2 and Slackware 12.0 installed.
A problem arises: Why has an amount of 5 times my pc reset spontaneously to the start or Slackware 12.0 or 12.2.
The first time (not given importance) was right after having done the update Slackware64-current (Mon Apr 8 06:58:48 UTC 2011).
The latest was today, to start Slackware 12.0. Below is part of my log /var/log/messages (Apr 25 10:56:16 is the time that undercuts the machine)

Possible VirtualBox bug. How about to upgrade it to latest version? VirtualBox 4.0.6 is released.

Just throwing my hat in the ring on this issue, not wanting to hijack the thread.
I can't be for certain that VirtualBox is the cause, and I have not yet had a chance to capture any log files. But I have noticed that at what appears to be quite random, my computer will hard power off when a Virtual machine is running. Typically, though not always, it happens when the VM is first started. Though I have been able to get one VM running perfectly stable, and the starting of a second one will cause the crash.
Are there any log files I should be posting, or techniques I should be using to start the VMs to assist in diagnosing the problem?
Just an FYI, I am running
Slackware64-13.37 with the Huge kernel
VirtualBox 4.0.6 with the guest additions add-on installed through the Virtualbox installer (no slackbuild script used)
AMD Athlon64 (not sure the exact model, but it is an old 939 socked with none of the virtualization features)
4GB RAM
nVidia built into the motherboard I believe it is a 5xxx series (the nouveau driver doesn't work at all with this card, so I have it blacklisted)
If more detailed specs of any of my stuff is needed, please let me know and I will get that information when I get home tonight.
