problem with sound on slackware 11
 

hi,

i was watching videos on youtube... all of a sudden the sound stopped playing... then after even amarok is not playing any music... it gives the error "xine was unable to initialize any audio drivers"... i tried reinstalling the alsa driver but that too dint help.... wat do i do???

What's your hardware? You might have two sound devices and somehow it switched to the other that wasn't setup or supported?

Oh yeah, did you reboot, modprobe your driver, etc?
